Hudsons is a family owned design consultancy, based in Oxton Village, near Liverpool, specializing in the design, planning and implementation of both interiors and gardens.

We pride ourselves on our reputation for quality designs and a personal service, while working to the most exacting budgets and timescales. As qualified designers we have the training and resources to help clients explore different design options while maintaining the essence of your original brief or idea. We place particular emphasis on our understanding of our clients’ requirements, focusing on creating design solutions to suit your individual tastes and lifestyle needs.

 

We are open to any design proposal suggested by our clients, however traditional or modern and will be delighted to tailor our style to meet your requirements. We are happy to undertake all stages of the design process from consultation, planning and project management, to sourcing products and designing room layout and garden planting plans.

Sofas

Our tailored furniture service increases the opportunity for individual expression as any item of furniture from our catalogue can be covered in any suitable upholstery fabric of your choice. It is simple too. After you have made your furniture selection, order your chosen fabric from one of our fabric suppliers which all meet the necessary FR standards for the application (domestic or contract), and the furniture will then be upholstered by our master craftsmen and delivered the finished piece direct to your door.

Satisfaction is assured, with solid beech frames (glued, screwed and doweled) and serpentine sprung bases being standard on most large seating items. Every item is craftsman made in England, using the highest quality of materials and is hand finished to uncompromising standards. Furniture can be hand stained or lacquered in a range of finishes at no extra charge. Please specify leg colour at time of ordering. We are happy to attempt to match other finishes on request but unfortunately cannot guarantee exact colour matching.

Kitchens

In collaboration with a North West based company that manufactures quality hand-crafted furniture to a very high specification, we design and build innovative, functional and design conscious living spaces and custom furniture that really meet the needs of our clients.

 

We can work with, and understand, the pros and cons of many materials and what really makes complex rooms like kitchens and bathrooms work well both practically and aesthetically. We combine the latest technologies with the highest quality materials to create unique furniture to the each

 

client’s exact specifications. So whether you want wood, zinc, tile, plastic or concrete – and whether your style is industrial, modern, retro, country or a mix, we can help you ensure that your vision becomes a reality.

Curtains

We design and supply curtains, blinds, bedspreads and cushions using individual fabrics to complement your home and lifestyle. We have a wide range of fabrics in our design studio from simple plain linens to beautiful, stylish velvets to help find the right choice for you.

Upholstery

Working with master craftsmen, we can arrange for all your upholstery needs - giving well loved pieces a new lease of life with high quality materials and finishing. We can help you choose the right fabric for the way you live, marrying both stylistic and practical needs.

Hand Crafted

Hudsons are proud to announce a new collaboration with a master craftsman, based in the North West, designing and making beautiful, individual pieces of hand made furniture. We can now design and create sublime furniture and home storage to your precise wishes - working with you to select the wood, design and style.
